Technology for In-Depth Treatments

We use dental technology to gain better insight into your dental health. This allows for more effective treatment planning and, in some cases, more precise treatments.

At Richmond Village Dental, we use digital X-rays and soft tissue lasers to help provide the most thorough dental experience possible.

Digital X-rays and scans can be displayed on the monitors in our treatment rooms, allowing us to show you issues in your mouth, including those below the gum line or deep within your teeth.

This will help you better understand exactly what's going on with your oral health so that you can ask informed questions about your dental treatment.

We strive for all-around patient comfort at our clinic. This includes offering the information you need to make informed decisions about your dental health care, giving you peace of mind.

Digital X-Rays

Digital X-rays use digital sensors instead of traditional photographic X-ray film. They produce highly detailed computer images of the teeth and gums, as well as other oral structures. This allows your dentist to view structures not normally seen by the naked eye.

Panoramic X-Rays

Panoramic X-rays use several individual X-rays to create a single image of your entire mouth. This image is a flat representation of the teeth, upper and lower jaws, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and nasal structures. Panoramic X-rays are often used in planning for dentures, braces, and extractions.

Soft Tissue Lasers

Dental lasers, which are focused beams of light, allow our dentists to perform dental procedures with precision while reducing discomfort. At Richmond Village Dental, our dentists use lasers to remove overgrown or decayed tissue and to reshape the gums.

iTero 3D Scanner

The iTero® intraoral scanner takes accurate, 3D impressions of your bite. It allows us to plan your dental treatment in real-time, store data digitally, and create Invisalign clear aligners.
